Haley Fortune is an award-winning New York-based director, writer, and producer.
Most recently, she directed The Train Stoppers, a new musical by Amanda Freeman and Adam LaPorte, starring Meghan Rooney, Jordan Jacobs, and Cara Rose DiPietro. The production was part of the 2025 Downtown Urban Arts Festival, where it received both the Best Short and Audience Favorite awards.
Haley has directed the licensing premiere of Will Bonfiglio’s The Residence of Craigslist and a workshop production of Allison Morris’s Two Birds Who Are Stoned (developed through the Eugene O’Neill Theater Center), as part of Fresh Paint Performance Lab’s Incubator series.
At The Tank NYC, where she began as an intern on Greg Kotis’s I Am Nobody (directed by Meghan Finn), Haley later directed Courtship and lead produced Plume (directed by Jackson Paul Walker), both by composer Adam LaPorte.
As a performer, she has appeared onstage at The Tank, National Sawdust, La MaMa, and FRIGID New York, and is featured on the original cast recording of Vagina Town and in the short film Trees, both by Mur.
She is the co-writer and producer of the upcoming web series Doomscroll, created with longtime collaborator Brade Bradshaw, and co-hosts the lifestyle/comedy podcast Best of Luck With Everything, available on all platforms.
Haley holds a BFA from Oklahoma City University.
